Your new companyYour new roleThe primary role of the Income SO Accountant is to assist with managing the NICTS Income budget and report on cost recovery.The postholder will also be required to assist with projects.Current projects include the Civil Fee Review and the statutory transfer of The Appeals Service (TAS).Main job activities include:
- Management and reporting on the NICTS Income budget;
- Preparation of monthly Finance reconciliations and management reports including accruals returns, analysis of budget variances, cost recovery analysis and reporting;
- Preparation of budget forecast and profiling Monitoring Rounds (MR) returns;
- Supporting the Income DP with preparation of information for Finance Committee, Income Working Group, Senior Management, budget holders and other stakeholders;
- Liaison with various stakeholders, including Court Office staff and management, TAS staff and management and Project teams;
- Responsibility for system of internal financial controls;
- Year End accounting procedures and assisting with the year end audit;
- Review governance arrangements and business cases, when required; and
- Ensure compliance with all NICS and NICTS policies.
