Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in South Belfast and are actively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a permanent opportunity full time office based and offers excellent company benefits.
Working as part of a team within finance, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for accurate invoicing, credit control and banking.
Specific duties include:
Sales ledger management - reconciling the sales invoices with corresponding receipts
Credit Control - monitoring accounts and follow up on payments due
Resolving any disputes regarding payments and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts
Purchase ledger management - processing invoices and resolving discrepancies
Payment processing
Preparation of reports for management and assisting with cash flow forecasts
The Person:
Applicants will be articulate with excellent attention to detail
Applicants with have 2 years accounts experience
Applicants will work well in a small team environment
Applicants with be conversant with Xero software and will have a good working knowledge of MS Excel
