Business Administrator

A leading organisation based in Belfast, are currently seeking an experienced Business Administrator to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Working Hours: Hybrid working model – Monday to Wednesday office based with Thursday and Fridays working from home: 9am – 5pm (once training is complete and can work without supervision)

Salary Negotiable dependent on experience

Job Role:

You will be responsible for providing administration support to the operation, sales, and senior management teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous and demonstrable administration experience within a similar environment.
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths, English and ICT at grade 4 or above (Grade C+) or an
  • equivalent.
  • IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload, while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy and to participate in any required ad-hoc projects.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing general administration support to the operations, sales, and senior management teams. 
  • Interacting with clients, insurance brokers and accountants in a professional manner.
  • Participate and contribute to additional projects as and when required.
  • Effective email management ensuring items are actioned promptly.
  • Answering telephone calls and responding appropriately.
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation relating to data protection and confidentiality of information
  • Participate fully in training to allow understanding and progression through all operations processes.
  • Undertake such other appropriate duties that may be deemed necessary by Line Manager and Directors.
