Position: Sales Manager

Salary: Up to 36,000 basic plus up to 12k bonus + employee benefits + HYBRID, free parking (plus excellent public transport links) 25 days holiday + 12 bank holidays. Pension.

Hybrid set up: 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH (usually Tuesdays and Fridays)

Location: Holywood,Belfast, N. Ireland

The company is entering a period of growth and are now looking to appoint and experienced Sales Manager.

SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for the annual advertising sales and sponsorship budget
  • Generating digital, print and sponsorship revenues for the magazine brand
  • Achieve agreed sales targets
  • Identify and develop new business from the core target market as well as new business sectors.
  • You will build relationships and develop a large existing client base.
  • Prepare high quality proposals and client correspondence
  • You will be a creative thinker and be able to generate new business ideas.
  • Develop and deliver quality presentations to clients.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Penton Media Group business
  • You'll have a finger on the pulse of developments in media and commercial advertising sectors plus the wider business marketplace.
  • Coach, train, encourage and motivate other members of the sales team.

What background and experience are the company looking for?

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in media sales or a similar direct sales environment.
  • Proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment.
  • Proven experience of prospecting and delivering new business.
  • Good reporting and presentation skills
