MANE are currently recruiting for skilled Aircraft Structural Assemblers to join our client based in Belfast on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with substantial experience in structural assembly within the aerospace industry. You will be essential in constructing and maintaining aircraft components, ensuring the highest standards of precision, quality, and safety.
Your Responsibilities
Structural Assembly:
* Execute advanced structural assembly tasks, such as installing bulkheads, stringers, ribs, and wing box assemblies.
* Prepare surfaces through deburring, countersinking, and hole preparation techniques.
* Fit and assemble prefabricated parts to jigs or aircraft structures.
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise assembly.
* Assemble and fit hydraulic and pneumatic components, ensuring secure alignment.
* Swage fuel systems, cut hydraulic pipes, and handle the dismantling and reassembly of components.
* Conduct grounding checks for structural, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Required:
* Aeronautical apprenticeship
* NVQ L3 or equivalent
* Own Tools (Etched/Tool List)
* Flexibility on days and nights
* Experience: Proven experience as a Structural Assembler in aircraft is mandatory.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., Power Feed Drills, Rivet Guns)
