The Role

As Area Manager, your aim is to ensure you equip your delivery teams to deliver excellent care to all those they support. You will be accountable for the commercial responsibilities of the portfolio and ensuring that they strive to deliver within budget.  You will ensure that they are providing good or outstanding support to all those they support by ensuring all delivery teams, while complying with all relevant legislation, systems, processes and policy and procedures.  Their aim is to grow the delivery portfolio within Northern Ireland organically, and to work with the Business Team to mobilise new contracts when awarded. 

A Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is essential, and you may need to apply to RQIA for Registered Manager status and undergo RQIA’s interview to determine suitability.

You will be required to be part of the On Call rota for the service. You will be paid an additional £10 per session. 

They are Independent Living services. Their Independent Living specialises in providing flexible, client-driven approach to care, health and inclusion requirements for people with a wide range of needs and living situations. 

Whether support is needed for an hour or two, or up to 24 hours a day, they help people to get the most out of life and their local community. This service, which embraces homecare, accessing local activities, community support and day services, supports all ages from late teens to elderly people.
