Area Sales Manager

Belfast or Dublin - WFH / Field Based

£45,000 to £50,000 + Excellent OTE + £7.6k Car Allowance

35 Hour Week / 33 Days Holiday (inc BH’s)

This exciting, high growth global business is one of the world’s largest kitchen & bathroom worktop manufacturers, recognised globally for innovative design and the best engineering. They deliver a seamless service to independent showrooms, house builders and property developer clients nationwide.

Due to an exciting period of growth and a solid plan in place for further expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager’s to lead the commercial activities across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Already an established area sales manager / business development manager the Kitchen or bathroom sector, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and maximize market share.

You will oversee the sales and business development within the house build sector for your region, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the kitchen / bathroom design or home enhancement industry, demonstrate successful achievement of sales targets, and the ability to thrive in a competitive market. Reporting directly into the Country Manager (UK), you will support them with creating and executing strategy as well as influence and collaborate with other members of the senior leadership team in order to shape the direction of the business.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Country Manager (UK), develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue growth at a regional level.

Develop and maintain key account relationship with existing independent kitchen showrooms.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the independent kitchen showrooms, partnerships, and market segments to expand the company's customer base.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with the product development team to ensure the product portfolio meets customer requirements and remains competitive in the market.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key head office colleagues, customers, architects, designers, and contractors.

Lead pricing strategies, negotiations, and contract management to maximize profitability and maintain healthy margins.

Work alongside the Country Manager and marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Develop the CRM systems and processes to improve customer relationship management and maximize sales effectiveness.

Analyse sales performance data, market research, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous sales growth within your region.

Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for your region.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical business practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager or Account Manager within the kitchen design or home enhancement industry.

In-depth knowledge of kitchen or bathroom design and the K&B industry, market dynamics, and trends.

Strong business acumen and a track record of driving sales growth and profitability.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to implement effective commercial strategies. Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and delivering business objectives.

Familiarity with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and reporting tools. Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in business practices.
