About the Role: We are seeking a Freelance Building Surveyor for a 2-week contract to carry out fabric condition surveys across multiple office spaces in Belfast. This short-term role offers a great opportunity to apply your surveying expertise in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed fabric condition surveys across office buildings.
- Use a tablet device and bespoke asset capture software to record survey data.
- Identify and document defects, deterioration, and maintenance requirements.
- Provide clear and concise reports to support asset management planning.
- Proven experience in conducting fabric condition surveys, ideally in commercial office environments.
- Competency in using tablet devices and asset capture software.
- Strong knowledge of building pathology, materials, and construction techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within the tight project timeframe.
- Duration: 2 weeks.
- Rate: £300 per day.
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35.
