Monitoring Officer – Belfast - Contract - £17.88 p/h

REED Technology Belfast are proud to partner with a not for profit organization, whom due to the increased workload require a Monitoring officer to join their team for a period of 6 months initially.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, review and improve systems and processes for the collection of service and outcomes data in line with the company remit.
  • Support the implementation of a monitoring and evaluation framework for gathering data and monitoring service delivery standards with key stakeholders.
  • Support service providers with collecting and reporting service data for contract monitoring and outcomes measurement.
  • Establish implement and regularly monitor procedures for data collection with a view to ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Cleanse, manipulate and analyse data, to support management decision making.
  • Undertake regular reviews of data collection procedures within the company
  • Provide accurate and timely management reports on a regular basis using relevant data sources.
  • Facilitate ad hoc requests from the Management Team.

Essential Criteria

  • 2+  years’ practical experience in the following areas:
    1. Developing data queries using recognised data manipulation tools (e.g. SQL) and presenting results.
  • 1+ year’s experience in the following areas:
    1. Maintaining the security and integrity of data.
    2. Training users in how to input and extract data from existing information systems.
    3. Co-ordinating all aspects of monthly monitoring data collection and reporting, ensuring output is of high quality and produced on time.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience using MS Dynamics CRM, SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel (or equivalents).
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in the public sector.
