To manufacture aircraft cable assemblies, panels and printed circuit boards to meet the production target programme to ensure that the internal and external contracted commitments to the customer are fulfilled suppliers and an integral part of the Spirit natural team. You will be supporting the project management activities within area of responsibility, ensuring that the right project decisions are taken in a timely manner, to achieve success in the project.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Obtain drawings and process sheets to ensure the correct information is available to manufacture jobs as per shop order card

Installation of electrical harnesses into aircraft structures.

Check the contents of the kit against the process sheets and drawings to ensure that the correct items are kitted.

Check tools are calibrated and in date

With the aid of the relevant information and tools manufacture cable assemblies and panels and P.C.Bs within the standard hours allocated

The job holder must be able to check avionic and electrical systems to a test schedule, recognise, diagnose and rectify any defects within these systems and in conjunction with the inspection department must be able to prepare company and production aircraft for flight.

The process sheets are stage inspected after each operation to ensure that the job quality is not compromised.

The jobholder is responsible for keeping their work station clean and tidy to ensure a healthy and safe working environment

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience required

Completed Electrical Apprenticeship.

Have the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and EPR's.

Be able to use specialised tools and electrical test equipment.

Desirable Experience

Understand aircraft electrical and avionic systems.
