The Opportunity:

This is a unique chance to join a globally respected wealth management firm in their Wealth Planning team, based in Belfast. As a Paraplanner, you will provide vital technical and planning support to deliver exceptional, holistic financial planning services to UHNW clients with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and deliver comprehensive suitability letters, ensuring the effective implementation of tailored financial solutions.
  • Provide technical financial planning support, including cash flow modelling and analysis of existing client structures.
  • Participate in client meetings to capture detailed insights and support complex financial planning discussions.
  • Accurately maintain client records using a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with the broader Wealth Planning function and internal teams to enhance client outcomes.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and projects to refine client service propositions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and conduct risk standards.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Financial planning qualifications (e.g., CII Diploma or higher).
  • At least two years of paraplanning experience within a financial advisory setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with financial planning tools like Voyant Advisor (preferred but not essential).
  • A client-centric mindset with excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Energetic, resourceful, and forward-thinking problem solver.
