- Salary up to £14.00 per hour (£29,000 per annum)
- Working hours between 32 - 48 hours
- Mon - Fri (8:00am - 17:00pm) - with the requirement of 6am/7am start on occasion including Saturdays
- Overtime available
Concrete Finisher - Requirements
- Must have previous experience within a manufacturing or construction industry
- Previous experience working in precast concrete
- Ability to read technical/construction drawings
- Experience with hand/air and power tools
- Good understanding of Health & Safety at work
- Experience in civil engineering related projects - desirable
- Counterbalance forklift licence or overhead crane licence - desirable
Concrete Finisher - Responsibilities
- Fill blowholes and smooth external edges to specified finish grades
- Ensure the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Repair or replace damaged sections of precast structures
- Clean and smooth chipped edges and stone rub to remove excess
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the concrete surface
- Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces
