IT Systems Engineer
- Annual Salary: £34,000 - £36,000

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated IT Systems Engineer to join our experienced IT team. This role is crucial in maintaining both on-premise and cloud-based systems, and in the development and implementation of strategic IT targets. You will play a key role in bringing our IT strategy to life, reporting directly to the IT Manager.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Configure, maintain, and administer IT systems.
- Provide IT support and customer service.
- Assist the IT Security Officer with IT security management.
- Set up, maintain, and support ICT hardware and networks, including Wi-Fi.
- Support and maintain backups and endpoint protection systems.
- Manage routine server operations, both physical and virtual.
- Administer and support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage endpoint device security.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager, IT Security Officer, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on cyber security measures.
- Assist with security monitoring tasks to ensure the IT estate is protected.
- Manage IT system security patching.
- Offer third-level support to the IT team and organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- HND/Diploma in a Computing-related discipline.
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience working with various server hardware and supporting endpoint devices.
- Experience with backup hardware and software systems.
- Experience with patch management solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
