Reed HR are supporting a rapidly growing technology business focused on the media industry. They are seeking a Human Resource Manager to the team who will manage the HR lifecycle and developing people strategies that align with business goals.

This role is suitable for CIPD qualified candidates with either 2 years+ HR Manager experience or 5 years+ HR Generalist experience and looking to move to a more senior role.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring it aligns with best practices and legislation.
  • Manage absence across the organisation, providing solutions and support to HR and operational staff.
  • Support employee relations, enhancing employee morale and motivation through consistent and fair management.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs to maximise learning opportunities and employee progression.
  • Manage the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring timely and accurate updates and compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislative changes and best practices.
  • Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and staff, ensuring effective and efficient HR operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in HR or a related field, or a CIPD qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Manager or 5+ years as an HR Officer, covering the full HR lifecycle.
  • Experience in client or customer-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR practice analysis including recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and ability to manage confidential environments.
