REED HR NI is currently seeking a dedicated Human Resource Advisor to join our clients team based in Belfast City Centre. This role is crucial for assisting in the development and implementation of human resource practices and initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, supporting the overall organisation on a Part Time, 3-4 days per week basis for a period of 9 months.  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Advice and Guidance: Develop and implement HR strategies including recruitment, training, and retention plans. Provide HR support to line managers on various employee relations matters
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Act as an advisor on recruitment, ensuring job descriptions and personnel specifications are up-to-date and compliant with legal standards
  • Discipline and Grievance: Lead in providing support in disciplinary and grievance cases, including investigation and interview procedures
  • Training and Development: Create and implement training programs on key HR initiatives such as recruitment, absence management, and disciplinary procedures
  • Reporting: Generate HR reports for Councils and Committees on labour turnover, recruitment, and absence management
  • General HR Support: Assist in general HR queries, deputise for the Head of Human Resources, and supervise HR staff as needed

Working with the Head of Human Resouces and the wider HR Team this is a great opportunity for an HR Professional who is currently immediately available, or available at short notice and will offer the opportunity to work with our client, based in Belfast City Centre and be become a part of an established, collaborative team.
