Reed HR is delighted to support our long-established聽client in the Coleraine area who wishes to recruit a HR Officer to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach with excellent interpersonal skills that include the ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation and with a flexible approach to work.

As HR Officer you will be required to provide HR Generalist support across Operations and Head Office functions in NI, Scotland & Republic of Ireland. HR Generalist support will include: managing and supporting investigation, disciplinary & grievance case work, delivering corporate induction and HR training, Recruitment tasks (end-to-end process) and providing advice and guidance in all HR related matters in line with employment legislation and best practice.

Main duties & responsibilities:

路 Play a key role in driving the聽HR Strategy across the group

路 Conduct investigation/ disciplinary & grievance meetings & all associated case work

路 Advise and provide support to Managers, Supervisors & Employees

路 Prepare letters and documents for employees & employee relation case work

路 Ensure all HR records are updated and maintained

路 Create and provide HR data analysis and reporting

路 Co-ordinate internal & external training

路 Support absence management across the group

路 Support Performance Management initiatives both high performance and low performance

路 Lead & drive Employee Engagement and Wellbeing initiatives across the group

路 Overseeing end-to-end recruitment process

Essential criteria:

路 Degree in Human Resource Management or a related degree.

路 CIPD Qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.

路 Full UK driving licence.

路 Excellent IT skills which include; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

路 Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

路 High level of verbal and written communication skills.

路 Presentation skills.

路 HR experience: 2 years in a HR Administration or Officer/Generalist role is preferred.

路 Experience of managing recruitment campaigns.

Desirable:

路 Sage experience & knowledge.

路 Experience of PAMS HR system.

路 Employment law knowledge of NI, Scotland and ROI.
