REED HR is delighted to support our client who wishes to recruit a HR Officer to join their team on a fixed term contract for a 14-month period.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a high-profile company and develop your skills. Reporting to the HR Manager you will provide a high-quality generalist service to the HR function as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with recruitment campaigns
  • Administering training requirements
  • Assisting in day-to-day human resources and learning and development administration
  • Updating and maintaining all HR records
  • Co-ordinating the digital transformation of HR information
  • Completing regular and consistent reporting
  • Maintaining regular contact with employees, addressing queries and signposting correctly
  • Dealing with phone calls, general filing, scanning and data input
  • Maintaining and promoting staff wellness and wellbeing
  • Adhering to the company Health and Safety Policy
  • Always promoting a positive image of Heron Bros
  • Any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Criteria:

  • Third level degree in a business or related discipline
  • Degree classification of 2:1 or higher
  • At least 1 year's employment in HR function
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Methodical
  • Interest in holistic HR approach
  • Trustworthy and respectful of confidences
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation
