A leading Professional Services organisation is seeking an IT Project Manager with previous Developer experience on a contract basis.

You will be required to work onsite in Belfast 3 days a week (with relocation allowance at discretion)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Consultancy working with their Tier 1 Investment Banking client on a high profile programme. This programme will give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills working as part of a global team, whilst also helping our client to enable growth in on of their key businesses.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Hands on development experience in any programming languages including Java or C# (minimum 1 year) on enterprise application software
  • Project Management experience

 What you will do:

  • Lead and oversee the strategic direction, development and implementation of IT policy and standard requirements
  • Implement IT governance model, create Project plans, track and report. Ownership of systems and applications including lifecycle management
  • Partner with IT Risk and Control teams to assess gaps and identify remediation plans
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Wide IT Risk Management framework and Risk and Control processes
  • Track record of delivering and managing large Projects across multiple businesses and geographies
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to lead global teams in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines, or unexpected requirement changes
  • Support the Operations line team with their test preparation and execution
  • Leads the identification and drives resolution of issues, including those outside of the immediate workstream within their remit
  • Drives adherence to Project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for Project delivery as defined by IT Leadership

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as an IT Project Manager managing teams and delivery on large, strategic cross-functional Projects.
