IT Officer – Belfast - Contract - £17.34 p/h
REED Technology Belfast are proud to partner with a not for profit organization, whom due to the increased workload require an IT Systems officer to join their team.
To provide an IT service to the company, a public sector body to ensure all areas related to IT service provision are operating efficiently and effectively. To assist with IT systems and application L1, and L2 support to approx. 100 users who are working in a hybrid pattern
Responsibilities:
This temporary role has been identified as essential in providing the IT Team with appropriate resourcing for current management of our IT estate which is hybrid-based. This includes (but is not limited to) Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Palo Alto Prisma, Qualys. This role is also essential for routine maintenance of all IT Hardware (on-premise client, server & devices) and Software (hybrid) within company IT environment.
- Â Â IT Configuration/Setup, Maintenance, and AdministrationÂ
- Â Â IT Support & Customer Service
- Â Â IT Security
- Setup, Maintenance and Support of ICT hardware
- Support of ICT Networks to include Wi-Fi networks.
- Support and Maintenance of Backups
- Support and Maintenance of Endpoint Protection and XDR
- Routine management of Server Hardware
- Support and Maintenance of Active Directory services
- Administration and Support of Microsoft Entra ID
- Endpoint Device Management and Security.
- Administration and Support of Microsoft 365 E5 including.
- A minimum HND/Diploma in Computing or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience working with the following:
- Microsoft Certification in Microsoft 365 Administration
- Working with and supporting Microsoft Endpoint device environment
- Experience or Certification with Microsoft Intune to onboard endpoint devices.
- Experience or Certification with Microsoft Defender for endpoint devices.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
