CATERING ASSISTANT (Temp)

We are actively seeking passionate Catering Assistants to join our culinary teams across a diverse range of establishments in the Greater Belfast Area. This includes opportunities in hotels, restaurants, pubs, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and contract catering sites.

Day to Day of the role:

  • You will be responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks, using the proper equipment and following the recipes and instructions.
  • You will also be in charge of setting up and cleaning the dining area, the kitchen, and the equipment, following the hygiene and safety standards.
  • You will help with the promotion of the meals service and work in the tills, handling cash and payments.
  • You will record the temperatures of the food and equipment as required and secure the premises when needed.
  • You will follow the relevant laws, regulations, and codes of practice that apply to your job.
  • You will perform any other duties related to the service provision as assigned by your supervisor.
  • You will work in a professional and courteous manner with your colleagues, students, and staff.
