Role Overview:
We are seeking a collaborative lawyer and/or family law mediator with proven success in reaching amicable resolutions. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team and play a key role in addressing and resolving all client concerns in a mutually beneficial way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise collaborative law and mediation techniques to reach amicable resolutions for clients.
- Tailor strategies to meet client objectives and resolve concerns effectively.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanour with both team members and clients.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in addressing client concerns.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels within the firm and with clients.
- Uphold professional responsibility and accountability, ensuring a first-class service is provided.
- Utilise strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working in a paperless environment.
- Prioritise tasks effectively and remain resilient and solution-led when faced with setbacks.
- Uphold the firm's reputation for excellence, maintaining empathy, understanding, and efficiency in all tasks.
- Remain self-motivated with a strong work ethic, inspiring achievement within the team.
Requirements:
- Extensive private family law experience.
- Proven success in collaborative law and/or family law mediation.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the legal market.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in addressing client concerns.
- Resilience, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy, understanding, and efficiency in client interactions.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
