Key Duties:

Collaborate with the assigned Coordinator to ensure awareness of all tasks and responsibilities. This includes:

  • Reviewing daily schedules in advance via Outlook.
  • Fully understanding job sheet requirements and seeking clarification on any uncertainties.
  • Confirming required tools and equipment are identified and gathered.
  • Keep the Coordinator updated on the status of all tasks in progress or completed.
  • Assume leadership on-site when designated, ensuring that all tasks are successfully completed per project guidelines.
  • Upon arriving on-site, introduce yourself to the client and follow company protocols.
  • Conduct a risk assessment before starting any work.
  • Complete the assigned tasks as detailed in the job sheet.
  • Communicate with the client regarding work completed and any pending tasks before departure.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is filled out and returned to the Coordinator before leaving the site.
  • Maintain accurate time records for each task and submit them as required.

Installation & Commissioning Engineering:

  • Work with the Engineering or Contracts Manager to gain a full understanding of upcoming projects. This includes:
    • Checking daily schedules in advance.
    • Reviewing job sheets (including specifications and drawings) and ensuring any unclear information is clarified.
    • Confirming the availability of required tools and equipment.
  • Keep the Engineering/Contracts Manager informed on the progress of each project.
  • Take responsibility as the on-site project lead when assigned, ensuring full completion of tasks in line with requirements.
  • Upon arrival at the site, meet with the client and adhere to established protocols.
  • Perform a risk assessment prior to starting work.
  • Complete all installation and commissioning work as per contractual agreements.
  • Provide demonstrations to the client and inform them of work completed or any additional requirements before leaving the site.
  • Ensure that all handover documentation and necessary paperwork are completed and returned to the Engineering/Contracts Manager.
  • Keep accurate records of personal time for each job.

Quality Management & ISO Compliance:

  • Ensure all relevant documentation is completed according to legislation, health and safety, and company quality standards. This includes:
    • Work Report Sheets (WRS), Report Certificates, and other specific paperwork.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and contribute to continuous improvement through corrective actions.

Health and Safety:

  • Comply with health and safety systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure site-specific risk assessments are conducted and any corrective actions are taken.
