Our client are a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide.
Technical Support Lead Engineer - Providing technical expertise and knowledge on plant equipment, PLC's robotics, drives and a range of electrical/ mechanical systems.
As a Senior member of the maintenance team, this person will play a key role in resolving technical problems, fault finding and troubleshooting.
This would be the perfect role for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to further their career and apply their technical knowledge in a manufacturing engineering environment.
Shift pattern is continentals 2 week days and 2 week nights, with a salary approx 53k.
The Role
- Provide expert technical knowledge on plant wide equipment
- Technical support to the maintenance team on fault finding and troubleshooting
- Work across PLC systems, controls, robotics, drives and electrical systems
- Adjust, calibrate and monitor inverter drives and temperature controllers
- Support in the development of preventative maintenance planning
- Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly
- Continuous improvement and machine upgrades
- Complete and update robotic software and backups
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical
- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experienced working with PLC's, control systems and preferably robotics
- Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills
