Your new role
As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking engineering water and wastewater process design for a variety of projects. Your role will involve the development of design solutions for clean and wastewater applications, interpreting design data such as jar testing results, and preparing process design calculations specific to water and wastewater design. You will also be involved in feasibility, outline, and detailed process design work, liaising with clients within the UK and Ireland, and contributing to the delivery of projects to ensure timeframes and budgets are met.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering or a similar field, along with demonstrable experience within the water and/or wastewater engineering sector. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and working towards chartership is required. You should have strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater process design methods, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and an awareness of recent developments in engineering design and research. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to use initiative in problem-solving are essential. You should also have good negotiation and interpersonal skills, be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, and be client-focused with good organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
