The Successful Service Technician / Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
The Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will ideally be based in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment at client sites, including ports and harbours.
- Carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
- Electrical component installation.
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulic and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Oversee the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of various client mechanical equipment.
- Assist in identifying and procuring spare parts as needed.
- Generate clear, factual reports documenting all tasks and outcomes.
- Engage in rigging and lift planning activities.
- Adhere to all site Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
- Mitigate any potential environmental risks during tasks, ensuring all safety measures are applied, particularly in offshore settings.
- Travel outside the UK and Ireland as required to support other departments or for training purposes.
- Previous experience as a Service Electrician, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Crane Technician, Crane engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar.
- Working within the marine, port & harbour crane industry. Preferably on Liebherr, Gottwald and Kalmar is an advantage.
- Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
- Work at heights.
- A technical electrical/ hydraulic qualification, apprentice trained, HNC,HND, degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
