Experienced Production Manager
Required to oversee day - day production activities. Reporting into the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will have proven success in managing a multiple department in a food production facility for maximum efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate will be

-highly skilled in change and people management, budgetary and fiscal management, an initiative-taker who can develop our culture of health and safety, quality, technical standards and diversity.
- will be a strong leader with demonstratable experience of building and developing high performing production teams.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop food production systems to improve productivity and service to customers.
Lead, develop and implement continuous improvement across production environment.
. Maintain a safe production environment
Plan and organise production schedules including labour demand planning.
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity.
Ensure production planning meets existing and future business demands and activities remain on time and within budget.
Management of staffing levels in line with budgetary and demand requirements.
Manage staffing rosters, weekly payments, and holidays of operation team.
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time sensitive and demanding environment, including Performance Development Plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
Pro-actively manage health and safety of the production floor.
Lead and drive standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping through Good Manufacturing Practices and BRC.
Manage the training and development of production team.
Introduce KPI's to drive performance.
Support company values to ensure a positive culture that fosters good employee relationships.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years proven success in production management role preferably within food manufacturing
Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or related field preferred
Understands Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements and has led teams to achieve Grade A or above.
Excellent People and organisational skills
. Competent in using systems
Experience in financial budgetary processes.
Team player who values collaboration.
