Arcas Technology are partnered with a leading organisation that is currently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will lead the technical aspects of AI and automation projects within a cross-organisational programme focused on enhancing digital capabilities. This role is pivotal in supporting the organisation’s adoption of AI and automation, enabling colleagues to develop their skills while identifying and implementing AI solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading experimentation and skills development in AI to support colleagues in learning and applying AI and automation effectively.
- Providing technical support and advice internally, assisting teams in assessing emerging AI technologies.
- Identifying and prioritising AI and automation use cases, ensuring the most valuable opportunities are pursued.
- Acting as a technical project manager to implement and develop AI and automation solutions, collaborating with external advisors and technical partners.
- Leading the measurement and analysis of AI projects, overseeing the transition from proof of concept to production environments.
- Documenting and sharing learnings from AI and automation initiatives to support knowledge sharing and organisational learning.
- Advising on AI strategy and future planning, including resourcing needs, security, and governance policies.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in aligning AI solutions with business objectives and demonstrating ROI.
- Expertise in leading technology adoption initiatives and managing organisational change.
- Strong project and programme management experience, with a track record of successful technology implementations.
- Experience collaborating with external advisors and vendors on AI and data-driven projects.
- Ability to identify opportunities where AI and automation can drive business value and enhance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, as well as automation platforms like Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and cloud-based AI services such as Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services is desirable.
