Quality Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining our Quality Management System and Health & Safety system, ensuring our products meet both company and customer standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Monitor ongoing product quality through the production process, conducting random quality checks.
  • Handle the final release of pharmaceutical products.
  • Inspect incoming products from suppliers.
  • Operate the EyeC Proofiler system as required.
  • Conduct internal audits, including process, housekeeping, and glass/brittle plastic checks.
  • Manage customer-specific approvals and testing as needed.
  • Coordinate containment actions related to non-conformances, such as processing customer returns, rework, inspection, and quarantined products.
  • Train new Quality Inspectors.
  • Maintain validation, change control, training, and calibration records.
  • Assist in CAPA Management, including customer complaints, and liaise with internal departments to resolve non-conformances and promote effective corrective measures.
  • Support the Quality Manager in coordinating the review, authorisation, and re-issue of documents, communicating updates, and managing document obsolescence.
  • Handle supplier data management.
  • Generate weekly and monthly OTIF reports.
  • Update product specifications as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and Health & Safety committee activities, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Practical knowledge of health & safety.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
  • Desirable: Qualification in Quality and/or Engineering.
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of the Q-Pulse system.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Highly analytical and results-driven with good attention to detail.
