We are seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining our Quality Management System and Health & Safety system, ensuring our products meet both company and customer standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Day-to-day of the role:- Monitor ongoing product quality through the production process, conducting random quality checks.
- Handle the final release of pharmaceutical products.
- Inspect incoming products from suppliers.
- Operate the EyeC Proofiler system as required.
- Conduct internal audits, including process, housekeeping, and glass/brittle plastic checks.
- Manage customer-specific approvals and testing as needed.
- Coordinate containment actions related to non-conformances, such as processing customer returns, rework, inspection, and quarantined products.
- Train new Quality Inspectors.
- Maintain validation, change control, training, and calibration records.
- Assist in CAPA Management, including customer complaints, and liaise with internal departments to resolve non-conformances and promote effective corrective measures.
- Support the Quality Manager in coordinating the review, authorisation, and re-issue of documents, communicating updates, and managing document obsolescence.
- Handle supplier data management.
- Generate weekly and monthly OTIF reports.
- Update product specifications as necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and Health & Safety committee activities, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Practical knowledge of health & safety.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
- Desirable: Qualification in Quality and/or Engineering.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of the Q-Pulse system.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Highly analytical and results-driven with good attention to detail.
