Located: Northern Ireland
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: Car allowance & comprehensive benefits package The role of Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with fit-out and refurbishment projects primarily for hotels
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
- Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Producing formal quotations to customers
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Working on projects ranging in value up to £30m
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out with
- Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the fit out / design & build market sector
- Working experience dealing with projects £20m+ in value would be highly advantageous
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communicator written and verbally
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
