An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Food & Beverage Team Member to join the Ulster Reform Club in Belfast. The Ulster Reform Club, established in 1885, is an exclusive private members club in the heart of Belfast City Centre.

We pride ourselves on Hospitality, Conviviality & Individuality offering a bespoke and high-quality food and beverage service to our members. This is an ideal venue for a wide range of private member-only conferences, banqueting and celebrations as well as a busy local food and beverage operation in our Members Dining Room.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager of the Club, this position will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations in the Club Dining Room.

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Pleasantly, greet & seat members and their guests at tables.

Take food & drink orders.

Operate the till system.

Setting up and clearing tables.

Assist in the setup, operation and clear up of events and the Dining Room.

Ensure a high standard of cleanliness & tidiness in all working areas.

Provide the highest levels of service to Members and their guests.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for the F&B team member will have:

Held a similar role previously.

4- or 5-star experience, in either hotels, events or hospitality setting.

Understanding of Food & Beverage service.

Knowledge & experience of first-class service delivery.

Attention to detail.

Passion for delivering exceptional levels of service.

What we are offering

This is a part-time position, c. 16 hours per week working maximum 5 days out of 7, that will be based on the operational requirements of the Club.

We are offering a competitive salary of c. £11.50 per hour plus a potential Staff Fund payment.

You will receive a total of 28 days annual leave per year, with our holiday year running from April 1st to March 31st, of which some will be customary holidays and closure days of the Club.
