Finance Assistant – Belfast
12-month FTC | Full-time | Office-based | £negotiable
Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnered with a fantastic client in Belfast in the appointment of a Finance Assistant to join their team in a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful Finance Assistant will be responsible for a variety of financial and administrative tasks, including:
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling TSS administration tasks.
- Actively participating in the monthly management accounts process, including journal entries.
- Reviewing sales reports before submission.
- Setting up and managing daily and weekly sales records.
- Creating payment templates and processing payments through the banking system as needed.
- Issuing cheques and recording transaction details.
- Generating manual invoices upon request and maintaining the manual invoice register.
- Performing monthly reconciliations of control accounts, including bank reconciliations.
- Regularly communicating with branch administrators.
- Assisting with various other accounting and administrative duties as they arise
What you need to succeed:
- Third level relevant qualification (desirable)
- TSS administration experience (desirable)
- Experience in relevant finance role for at least 2 years
- Proficient in Excel
- Willingness to learn with a “can do” attitude
