REED Technology are excited to partner with a well-established charitable organisation in search of a Director of Corporate Services with an IT focus to join their Senior Management Team.

This pivotal role reports directly to the CEO and encompasses leadership across ICT, Quality & Audit, and Risk Management sectors.

Overview:

  • Provide strategic oversight and direction for ICT functions, ensuring security, compliance, and effective risk management.
  • Develop and review ICT policies and procedures, collaborating with the ICT Senior Manager to align IT strategy with organisational needs.
  • Implement and oversee IT systems, ensuring robust security measures and data protection protocols are in place to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Manage comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organisation’s goals.
  • Provide leadership across the organisation
  • Develop and lead strategic developments within your areas in line with the organisation vision and objectives.
  • Ensure the organisation fulfils its legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities
  • To provide evidence of adherence to best practice
  • To maintain awareness of risk and changes in the external environment that may affect the organisation
  • Lead the Quality & Audit functions, developing an annual audit plan and acting as an in-house specialist adviser on effective risk management.
  • Drive organisational change and efficiency through digitisation and technology enhancements.
  • Financial management including budgeting and tender management

Essential Criteria:

  • Educated to degree or post graduate standard in an IT related subject
  • 5+ years’ experience of leading teams in the ICT or Risk Management areas
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior management role
  • Proven leadership experience in managing ICT and corporate services within a large organisation.
  • Strong strategic and operational planning abilities, with a track record of implementing successful IT strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Expertise in risk management, with the ability to develop and enforce policies and conduct thorough risk assessments.
  • Excellent knowledge of data protection laws, including GDPR, and experience in managing IT security and compliance.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams across multiple disciplines, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
