An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client a world leading global aerospace manufacturing organisation in Belfast as Auto-Riveter. Paying (phone number removed) to 30,522.44 per annum pro rata, working 36 hour week. Initially these roles are on a temporary basis but will reviewed. In recent years the majority of our temporary workforce have transferred to permanent employment with our client.
Purpose of the Job
The Company is seeking a number of suitably qualified and experienced Operators to operate the
Gemcor & Brotjes machines on a rotational shift basis. This will provide an
automatic riveting service to support the manufacture of Aero-Structures within the Main Factory.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Installing fasteners in a wide range of products to a high standard in accordance with
production and quality specifications. (Work will include various rivet sizes & dimensions).
Set up and operating Gemcor & Brotjes machines in all aspects of their capability to produce
riveted assemblies to both production and quality requirements.
Utilising crane and manipulator to load machines, set up machines and run programmes.
Operating machine sensors if required to ensure correct part orientation.
Performing first line maintenance tasks as required by planned preventative maintenance
procedures.
The successful candidate
3 years machining experience in similar role. (Review)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use all appropriate measuring equipment
is required.
Knowledge of aircraft structures requirements is beneficial.
