Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all duties related to the processing, organising, and packing of goods that are sent to the warehouse for storage. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our warehouse and requires a strong work ethic and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Handle raw material intake and transfer to storage.
- Carry out raw material picking and transfer to production.
- Ensure finished products are correctly packed, addressed, and shipped by the correct transport or placed in storage as required.
- Conduct incoming and finished product inspections, including the cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
- Control stock and replenish all key consumables.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition.
- Quarantine any returned goods or items determined to be non-conforming by Quality.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
- Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with safety procedures when required.
- Report any deviations, near misses, or quality/Health & Safety incidents to the Operations Manager.
- Participate in monthly stock counts for consumables, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
Desirable:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Flexible working hours attitude.
- Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence.
