Job Opportunity: Early Years Teaching Assistant/Nursery NurseThe Education Network is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse to join one of our partnership schools in the Northumberland area. This is a temporary position starting on 31st January, with an initial duration of 6 weeks, and the potential for extension.We are looking for someone passionate about supporting and enhancing the education of young children within a classroom setting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum and the ability to deliver it effectively.Requirements:To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
  • Experience: Proven experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • Qualifications: A recognised Level 2/3 Early Years Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse qualification.
  • Attributes: A caring and nurturing approach towards children, with a commitment to their growth and development.
  • Knowledge: Full understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection responsibilities, and the ability to uphold these to the highest standard.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to new learning environments and able to handle varying classroom dynamics.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
  • DBS Certificate: A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to apply for one.
  • Availability: Able to commit to working five days a week for the duration of the assignment, with flexibility to extend if required.
