SUNDAY - SATURDAY: START TIMES

£15.05 - £24.71 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Bellshill area.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Trunking, tanker or store delivery work
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving tankers or curtain siders
• Experience in cage deliveries would be beneficial

Training

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment, there will be a 3 days paid induction
