We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team, delivering stock to restaurants across the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with consistent working hours and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 HGV to deliver goods to various restaurant locations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and maintain high standards of customer service, interacting with restaurant staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and check deliveries before dispatch.
  • Handle cash payments on deliveries where required.
  • Log deliveries and relevant information using a smartphone app.
  • Adhere to road safety and company driving policies at all times.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 HGV License.
  • Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Experience in delivery driving, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with restaurant staff.
  • Cash handling experience, as some deliveries may require payment collection.
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps for delivery logging.
  • Ability to work early mornings with 8 am starts.
  • Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
  • Tachograph required for monitoring driving hours and compliance.

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday with 8 am starts in Bellshill.
  • £14.50 per hour, with potential weekend uplift rates available for Saturday and Sunday work.
