People Solutions is seeking a Class 2 Driver for immediate start in Bellshill, offering a salary of £18.00 per hour with guaranteed minimum eight hours per day.
The position requires a valid UK Category C Licence, UK CPC Card, and UK Digi Card, with new passes accepted.

CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - SATURDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN

£18.00 PER HOUR - GUARANTEED MINIMUM EIGHT HOURS PER DAY

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Bellshill area for an immediate start.

Rates of Pay:

• £18.00 per hour for all hours

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Cage deliveries to locals stores and petrol stations
• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cages as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• New passes accepted
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
After successful Assessment, there will be on the job training given
