Role Overview
We are seeking a number of Synthetic Organic Chemists to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the synthesis and analysis of final products and intermediates, while contributing to the improvement of chemical procedures. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synthesise and analyse intermediates and final products per the Chemistry schedule.

  • Use analytical methods such as TLC, HPLC, LCMS, and NMR to monitor reactions.

  • Optimise processes to improve production efficiency and customer service.

  • Ensure compliance with quality policies, safety regulations, and EH&S standards.

  • Maintain accurate, legible lab records and assist in process development.

  • Mentor and train junior chemists.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Chemistry or 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience (MSc or equivalent preferred). This will include experience in synthetic organic chemistry and laboratory techniques, including TLC, HPLC, LCMS, and NMR. Any additional experience in a quality-regulated lab (eg. ISO9001 orGMP) is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills in organic chemistry,and ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
