We are seeking a Warehouse Manager with experience in managing operations within a chilled cold room environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at pulling teams together, ensuring efficient loading processes, and driving performance to meet operational goals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Leadership and Management: Lead operational activities during your shift to achieve the work plan on time, within budget, and in line with KPIs. Manage the warehouse training requirements and functions.
- Performance Monitoring: Drive performance through effective monitoring, coaching, and performance management. Review all aspects of shift performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Team Engagement: Lead the team proactively on shift to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement, and ensure good communication across the operation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, specifically in a chilled cold room environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in driving operational performance and meeting KPIs.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in training and developing staff.
