Our client is a leading design and manufacturing company that produces cutting-edge electronic solutions for a range of industries.


They are looking for a skilled Engineer to support production operations, ensuring the smooth running of manufacturing equipment and driving process improvements. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.


The role is a constant day shift position of 36 hours, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through maintenance and technical support.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement projects using LEAN methodologies.
  • Analyse and resolve production issues, collaborating with teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment in line with preventative maintenance schedules and calibration requirements.

About You:

  • Apprenticeship trained in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and production environments.
  • Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and basic machining equipment (Mills & Lathes).
