Job Title: Temporary Warehouse Operative
Start: Tuesday 17th December 24
Duration: Four Days Work
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer requirements
- Safely move stock within the warehouse using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
