My client, an innovative electronics technology company, is searching for a talented Stock Controller & Buyer to join their team. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Stock Management: Take ownership of stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best costs and improve lead times.
- Purchasing: Procure component parts, equipment, and services across all departments.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with finance, R&D, and quality teams to align on purchasing and production strategies.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure suppliers meet rigorous compliance standards.
- Data & Reporting: Implement and maintain MRP systems and provide accurate KPI reports.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years in stock control, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Qualifications: Ideally, CIPS Level 2+ certified.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MRP systems, MS Office, and Excel.
- Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
