Our network of outstanding secondary schools in Derbyshire are searching for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to support students in KS3 & KS4.

The Opportunity:

  • Location: Belper, Alfreton, Ripley and surrounding areas
  • School Type: Secondary Schools
  • Pay: £400-£450 per week, term-time only (Paid weekly)
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday or Part-time flexible days throughout the week.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered, you must:

  • Hold a degree with a minimum classification of 2:2
  • Be driven by a passion for working with students and influencing their lives positively
  • Possess a deep love for your subject matter (English, Maths, Science, Sport etc)
  • Radiate enthusiasm, friendliness, and approachability
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Approach the classroom with creativity and self-reflection
  • Build robust, supportive relationships with students of diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students in a classroom environment
  • Leading small groups and providing one-on-one support outside the classroom
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to enhance the educational experience
