Production Engineer - Tooling Manufacturing Up to £45,00 Belper Monday to Friday daysThe Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Production Engineer, to be part of the engineering department at their manufacturing facility in Belper. The successful Production Engineer will have a proven track record leading production based projects within a tooling, jigs & fixtures or metalwork background.

Scope of role

- Take existing small to medium production based projects, create a time line & follow the project through. - Highlight areas for production improvements. - Support NPI projects to ensure the smooth introduction into production. - Work with the tooling team to help resolve production or quality issues. - Collaborative working across multiple functions such as supply chain, maintenance, quality and production.

The Production Engineer

- Educated to HNC as a minimum in a relevant discipline such as mechanical engineering. - Strong knowledge of either metalwork, press tool or jigs & fixture. - Proven track record leading production based continuous improvement projects. - Excellent project solving skills.
