Transport Planner

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Transport Planner on behalf of our fantastic client in Derbyshire.

The roles responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for transporting oversized cargo.
Developing transport solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
Completing all administration tasks and dealing with infringements.
Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures.
Monitoring operations to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of planning.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to multi-task and complete a number of concurrent activities to a high standard.
Ability to prioritise workload while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
A proven knowledge of geographical routes and driver regulations in the UK.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work as part of a team and effectively communicate with other areas of the business and our customers.

Desirable Skills:

Proven experience in a similar role (Oversized, Heavy Plant, and out-of-gauge cargo)

Working Hours: 07:30 17:00 Monday Friday
