Bid Writer / Lead Author – Derbyshire – Up to £60,000

The Role

An experienced Bid Writer / Lead Author is required, to join a well-established construction company with a market leading reputation.

Working across a wide range of public frameworks and private tenders, you will be producing professionally written, consistent proposal content that clearly articulates the company’s value propositions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop value propositions tailored to client’s unique requirements
  • Undertake client/market research and competitor analysis. Research clients, consultants for relevant opportunities to enable us to prepare bid winning documents
  • Dissect questions and produce answer plans to maximise relevant information extracted from subject matter experts. Lead answer planning sessions.
  • Create response structures and compiling narrative for quality responses, aligned to the client’s evaluation criteria and objectives.

Essential Experience

  • Strong background in Bid Writing, ideally within the construction industry
  • Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content across multiple industry sectors
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Good quality research skills and effective questioning techniques.
  • Ideally AMPM Foundation or Practitioner
