Your New Role As Finance Manager - FP&A:

The business are expanding, and have a new opportunity available for a Senior Finance Manager with a group accounting department. In this role you shall prove to be an essential asset to the business, reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning & analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and identifying opportunities improve to procedures & controls. Based in the group structure, this role shall suit an adaptable and efficient individual with a strong finance background. As finance Manager with a focus on FP&A you shall monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company

Main role responsibilities:

Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports, providing key points and recommendations
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Provide data-backed recommendations to support effective decision-making
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct and differences investigated
Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
Deep involvement in the year-end audit process on performance-related queries
Undertake various project work such as automation, systems (SAP/POS) improvement
Oversee and produce monthly Board Pack and Profit & Loss Account

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

The ideal candidate will be an expert in their field, highly intelligent with strong technical accounting skills and a keen attention to detail. Formally qualified (ACCA ACA CIMA) with a proven track record of adding value in a similar role, you shall have a skill-set to enable you to lead on technical elements of finance in a group setting.
