My Client, A successful IT infrastructure company, are looking for a diligent Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to join their easy-going team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks and is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a relaxed, easy-going environment.
Day to day of the role:- Preparing financial forecasts and budgets to help guide business planning.
- Conducting Profit and Loss analysis to understand the company’s financial health.
- Compiling management account packs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Performing costings and revenue analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate balance sheet records and conducting regular analysis.
- Conducting internal audits, ensuring VAT returns and other financial documents are correct.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards and assisting with external auditing processes.
- Assisting with cash flow management to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Proven experience as a financial accountant.
- Strong understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in creating management account packs and conducting costings.
- Ability to perform revenue analysis and balance sheet analysis with high accuracy.
- Experience with internal audits and compliance with financial regulations.
- Knowledge of VAT returns and cash flow management.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
