Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Erith, Full-Time Office Based
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a medium-sized, Tier 1/2 FRA Specialist Contractor based in Erith. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to work with a leading contractor in the fire risk assessment (FRA) sector, managing cost control and commercial aspects of high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and controlling project costs from start to completion
  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Monitoring progress, assessing project risks, and advising on contractual issues
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency and project success
  • Ensuring projects remain within budget and maintaining comprehensive financial reports
  • Supporting project teams with valuations and variations
  • Final account negotiation and settlement
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction or FRA sector
  • Knowledge of fire risk assessments (FRA) and fire protection works is desirable
  • Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and financial control
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in relevant software packages
